This cake is very creamy and not at all oversweet, and although you have to leave it one night in the fridge, I guarantee you that it is worth the wait!
I decorated this one with mandarin slices, as the traditional way, but if you don´t like mandarins, you can just live it out or add another fruit.

If you really like mandarins (that´s not my case), you can mix the whole dough with them. I any case, I hope you try this recipe because you will have a great dessert or snack very easy to make, light and delicious! Let me know if you made and tell me how you liked it :)

Käsekuchen with base
Ingredients for an springform pan
with releasible buckle of 18 cm
with releasible buckle of 18 cm
115 g of all-purpose-flour
65 g sugar
65 g butter
1 Egg
2 tbsp vanilla sugar
1 tbsp backing powder
Filling:
500 g
Quark cheese
150 g sugar
100 vanilla pudding powder
50 g sunflower oil
300 g milk
2 eggs
Mandarin slices
Optional: grated lemon or rum aroma (I used lemon)
1. Place all the base ingredients in the Thermomix bowl and mix 1 minute/speed 4-5. If after the minute we touch the dough and it is too soft or too sticky, we add a bit more of flour and mix again a couple of seconds, same speed. The dough should be uniform and easy to knead.
2. Take the dough out of the bowl and make a ball with it, place it at the base of the springform that you have previously oiled. Now spread the dough with the hands all over the springform (base and sides), be carefull to fill in any gap.
3. Without cleaning the bowl, place all ingredients for the filling excepting the Quark and the mandarins in the Thermomix bowl and mix 1 minute/speed 4. Now add the Quark and mix again 1 minute/speed 3.
4. With care, fill the springform pan with the filling you have in the bowl, over the dough base (if you want lot of mandarins, mix them before with the filling by hand; if not, decorate the cake with the mandarin slices just placing them on the top of the cake).
5. Put it in the oven 175 degrees (Celsius) with fan during one hour. Atention! Look that the cake doesn´t get black on the top, as soon as you see it is geting darker, cover it carefully with kitchen foil and keep backing it.
6. One the oven time finished, we let the cake cool (don´t remove the cake from the springform pan!!) and afterwards we put it in the fridge for at least 5 hours (better if you let it in the whole night) . Now the cake is ready to be put in a platter and eat! Guten Appetit!
